This morning on our drive to school, over the sound of Old McDonald on repeat, I heard a few clicks and some slurping coming from the back seat. I glanced over my shoulder and the baby had found her jar of oatmeal, opened it, and started eating it with her hands. But, let’s get to the elephant in the room (me). Yesterday, I posted some things I’m thankful for instead of my Thursday Thoughts. It didn’t quite read like things I’m thankful for, but, sometimes, I just open up a new post and start to write. And that’s what I get. We had one of John’s friend’s over, so it was just the four of us, including the baby. It was nice to go small this year and not travel (not that I can fly anyway) and, also, NOT COOK! Thursday Thoughts

All week I’ve been writing a different Thursday Thoughts in my head. It could be the endorphins from the prenatal Barre workout I just did, or the fact that there’s only one more day until the weekend, but I have no motivation to turn this post into a full on commentary about the state of America.
